About Me

Hello my name is Stephen, I'm 54 and divorced and I live in the North East of England. I've been a keen photographer for some 30 years or more and my main photographic subjects are people, portraiture and sport with the occasional wildlife and landscapes thrown in.

I started out using a Pentax P30 with a 50mm lens, graduating to a Canon 1000 and a 35-80m zoom lens. Also a 70-210mm zoom onto a Canon EOS5 with associated lenses, before going digital about two years ago and I now use a Canon D5 and D30 with various lenses but a 70-200mm 2.8 USM is my main lens, which I find excellent. Along with my friend we go out most weekends to various events, weather permitting and I have recently enrolled in a digital imaging course where I hope to further my knowledge and better my photography skills whilst gaining the relevant qualification.
